Someone fill me in on what is going happened there , I apparently missed something while I was gone , I have been trying to piece it together but all I get are bits and pieces from posts here and there , exactly what happened there ?

When I left it was Ebrig and affordable power coming soon after that I don't know, I am assuming TPE and JSN engines use the same components ?

Theres so much dirty laundry that could be aired but heres the tip. Cpi made the original design with modifications by Erik Brigham adapted to fit a yamaha superjet. Hence the original tpe (true performance engineering) eb engine. Things weren't going well or whatever happened but it was then taken over by brian sizemore torrent performance still manufactured by the same place. now the cylinder can be purchased still from torrent or jsn.

I guess what I am really wondering is where the major screwup took place that Ebrig had to let it all go. I had dug up the stuff on CPI and understand that they make snowmobile cylinders.

It takes alot of time and money to make a project like this successful. Eriks focus in the very beginning was to make them affordable and he did just that. Jordan has put in thousands of hours tinkering with stuff and doing cad all on his own time. Sweat equity helps alot.

Tony chose to leave out some info…how when Kyle from dasa took it over from Erik before Brian. Or how affordable power was never Erik’s MO, but someone else’s who was involved with the project.

Or the fact that he approached CPI behind Brian’s back with the intentions to try to do a hostile takeover of a product line.

Yea I tried to stay on the relevant topic but yes kyle did have it for a second but don't remember him having cylinders. I did however buy pistons from him. And your wrong you schmuck. Erik's original motive was AFFORDABLE POWER TO THE PEOPLE or something like that. And I've been working on a separate engine project with cpi. How about the fact your boy manipulated her into a contract and only bought 1/3rd of what was supposed to be purchased over that timeframe. You know your the real reason why we have these engines and for that WETBUFFALO. I thank you. For everyone's record I tried to send alec a peace agreement and he won't respond so now it's the coupe de grace, it's nothing personal just business.

I’m really trying to stay out of the Drama. TPE can do their thing. We can do ours. No hard feelings. TPE makes a good motor and so does JSN. Back story is simple. The cylinder comes from a company called CPI. TPE previously had exclusivity agreement to buy the cylinders and that expired. Opened up a great opportunity to put a new spin on motors based around that cylinder. I drew up every part surrounding the cylinder, did a load of testing and we released a great set of motors at great pricing.

Alec (@Wetbuffalo) I’m always happy to chat directly. I understand there’s frustration in TPE camp and would love to figure out a way to stop all this unnecessary drama.

Well I really didn't mean to stir anything up , I was seriously curious about what happened because as you well know I wasn't here when it all went down.

But I will say this has been both informative and somewhat entertaining, thanks.

Thanks for the link I looked for it thinking Ebrig was the original poster ( of course that wasn't the case ) I also did not remember the actual name of the thread so my search came up empty , I ,made it through the first ten pages and I am going to have to read it in intervals , it's 81 damn pages long !
