TPE964 rebuild

I need to have a TPE top end rebuilt. Needs pistons and to be replated... not sure who to send the cylinders to and what to tell them. Also what pistons do i need?

I second this, hes the best and is really easy to work with. I think I wrote a review for him a while back if you do a search.

I would send him the whole engine and have him look at your crank too. Chances are the bearings need to be replaced.

That might just be some piston transfer. I can help you figure that out if you want. Top end parts in stock. Can help with plating and rebuild if you want or help you do it yourself. Paul is also great to work with. No pressure either way.

Easy way to find out, get some muriatic acid and some q-tips , dip the q-tip into the acid and use it like a small paintbrush , hit the areas where the Aluminum is stuck at, it will start bubbling and turning black, it may take a couple of applications but all the Aluminum will come off , I have done this on dozens of plated cylinders with good success. Muratic acid washes off with water and you can neutralize it with baking soda.
