Here is the build on my 4 place trailer.
I have a lot of skis. It’s nice to be able to bring out the whole family and have skis for everyone. So, I picked up a 1993 VM dual ski trailer.

Here is the trailer as I bought it. Really solid foundation to start from. C channel frame construction. The trailer is (outside fender to fender) 101.5 inches. Plenty wide to fit 3 across the back and long enough to have 1 across the nose.
Previous owners had added some stuff to make their configuration work. The welds were not up to snuff and the gauge of metal was too thin for my liking. So, cross member for nose pins and all bunk supports had to go.
Here is the trailer withe new nose pin cross member and bunk bracket mock up.
Then bunk mock up to ensure proper spacing.
Stoltz bow stops for rickter/superfreak/new SJ style bow hooks.
For the ski across the nose of the trailer, I added an upright nose brace. I don’t like just relying on tie downs.
Bunks coming together. Help from daughter
To be continued….
