Trailer Recommendations

What's up everyone. I'm about to buy my first jet-ski ever - picking up a 08 Superjet this weekend if all goes well. I've been looking at trailers and I'm wondering what everyone thinks about Shoreland'r rigs? The Shorelander I'm considering is a single PWC hauler - pretty basic. I guess there is an addon I can buy that gives me space for some fuel tanks (which I'll need).

Does Shoreland'r make good trailers? Any other brands people recommend? I was quoted $900 + tax + about $150 for a lifetime tag (in AZ). Is that a good price? Finally, what's a fair price for the addon that gives me a spot for fuel tanks (and a cooler would be nice)

Thanks everyone!

I welded up my own trailer for about 200, but to each their own. Just buy the trailer and take it somewhere and have them weld up a custom gas/cooler rack, that way you get exactly what you want. One thing you'll realize owning a superjet is that it is all about customization. Bite the built and start with the trailer. Just my .02, and congrats on the future purchase:bananalama:

You can usually pick up a single trailer newer (2000+) pretty cheap 200-300. You'll realize riding alone is no fun.

way too much money. look used. ive sold 3 shorlandr single ski trailers and for never more than 250-and thats with a toolbox. if your in phoenix area, make sure you buy from Jetski unlimited in north phoenix. they'll help you out, give you great price and are industry leaders. but used is the only way to buy a trailer-and shorlandrs are one step above harbor freight

JSU was the first place I went, based on recommendations here and their website (geared towards the standup community). They gave me a great price and really know their stuff - I will most definitely be buying there. They're also the people with the Shoreland'r for sale. I'm sure it's not a bad price for a new trailer, but if I can save $1000 buying a used one then why not.

So where can I find a used trailer in Phoenix?

Thanks for that link kmith - good lookin out! I'll keep checking eBay.. I was hoping for something by this weekend but that might not happen. I found a 96 single trailer on Craigslist but the carpet was worn and the lights didn't work.. and they still wanted $400 for it! I guess I'll keep looking.
