Trailering a stand up

I am new to the stand up jets skis and have just recently build a trailer. Im working with a 00 Superjet and a 88 sx650. My question is when you trailer your stand up what do you do with the pole? I dont want it bouncing and cracking something so i thought id ask the experts. Thanks in Advanced

I use a bungee or a strap like said above. A cover will also keep the pole in place.

I use my hood straps. They are adjustable so i let about 6" of strap out and cris cross them and then snap them down. Works perfectly.

I find that covers will tend to scratch your ski where they slap if you drive on freeways

I use the extra part of the tiedown strap for the back and wrap it around the bar to keep it down...I have a handpole spring so if I don't strap it down, the thing wants to stand straight up.

i use a jockstrap to keep mine down. may hurt but works like a charm

Crank your pole tight. It won't bounce around while on the trailer and after a couple rides you'll like it much better than running a spring.

Or just use a bungee cord.
