Transom toe downs

Can you guys post some pics of how you’re tying down the back of your ski. I’m setting up my new trailer for my blaster and 750sx and I’m looking for some ideas.

IMHO, these are simply the best. I will post up a picture of how ours are tied off to the trailer by a trucker's hitch tomorrow. But bottom line is that you thread the webbing through the transom hole and leave it there hanging behind the nozzle. Makes for easy towing too. This is on the front of the ski. I don't use it there. I use it on the rear of the ski in the transom hole:

Contact @Idok here he sells them.

That's really neat, I like that its a soft mount with nothing to catch on.

None of those "knots" (except for the over-hand loop at the end which is meant to never come undone) is "tight." Once the trucker's hitch is tightened, you just make a loop with the tail and pull it through a loop and then pull the loop through again for security and leave it loose. When you are ready to undo it, push the second loop through and just pull the tail on the first loop and everything comes undone. Easy-Peasy. See how the corporal pulls it apart at the beginning of the video below.

A buddy I kayaked with 50 years ago taught me the Trucker's hitch. We used it to tie our kayaks to the roof racks. If you don't know it yet, watch this video starting at minute 2:00:

Once you learn the trucker's hitch, you will use it on every house move, and every trip to the dump.

@Idok sells the stainless rings with the webbing attached. Just leave it on your ski because it also makes for great towing. (err "toeing" as well as a great "toe downs")

Heading out to ski now. It is 106F now with a forecast high of 108F. Which is good, because I still fall allot...

I’ve done it a bit differently on this new trailer.

I use the stainless tie-downs from IDOK but I run mine up through the bottom.

I added a kick to the back of my Matrix which made using a bow eye near impossible. The strap worked great and I feel much better with the strap up and over the ski now as well.
