trim cable

Broke my second trim cable in less than a year (skat track system) decided it was time to try the ez pull system this time round assuming ill break less cables. I hate replacing cables. Well here i am two and a half hours, half a tin of chew, and lots of cussing and i come across this BS (picture) yea. No threads on the cable. Same cable i ordered last time from blowsion except for this one is the longer version to work with the ez pull. WTF?? Im so pissed. Is there a trim lever that fits this cable? Ill spend $150 on a new lever than have to pull a new cable and spend two hours trying to catch tiny bolts between the pump and hull. Thanks

for starters , you aren't supposed to pull the lever while you are on the gas. that eats cables faster than anything, not that I've ever done it. for seconds,. I've NEVER bought a replacement cable for any trim system I've ever had. when the BS cable does break, and they always do, I just make my own. I use 600lb test stainless steel trolling wire from my dads commercial salmon fishing boat. it doesn't have ends on it, so for an end, I tie a knot in it. I use the knot end in the lever. I feed it thru the garbage $9,000,000 trim cable housing or just use old housing from broke throttle cables, if i'm making everything from scratch. at the nozzle end , I do what ever it takes to make it work, wether it be on some junk easy pull system with the wheel or some junk straight pull system. stop paying somebody to send you a garbage overpriced cable when you can make your own. I have ran the garbage skat trak junk that leaks almost as much thrust out the sides as it does out the back. I've made a cable for that one and put a delrin wheel on it and turned it into a hillbilly easy pull. worked excellently except for the piss poor clearances that I didn't deal with
