When installing the cable. What’s the best way to install it through the hull? Is there a fitting I can get similar to the water fittings to make it water tight? Would like some advice before the job. Don’t really want to drill a hole and slap on some silicone lol.

if you already have a tube in the hull for a cable or extra cooling line you can use a rubber boot with a reducing end. Thrust innovations has them or check with jetmaniac.
If you have no trim tube you can try searching and looking into a cable gland fitting.

installing a proper tube thru the bulkhead and tray to the pump cavity is the best course of action. Most trim kits will have a L bracket that bolts to the pump reduction nozzle to secure and operate the cable
