Jetmaniac is an Xscream dealer and usually has a couple units in stock as well as all the other little pieces required to complete the install.

I am pretty sure that the stock reduction nozzle and steering nozzle will not work.

I don't know anything about trim, but will be in the market for one soon. What is the difference between the Thrust system and the XMW system? Which is better?

Straight pull as opposed to....?

Thrust also has the ez-pull. The difference is the cable and a pulley. Significantly less effort to pull, seems to have the same travel. I set my wife's up with ez-pull then changed mine from straight to ez-pull for consistency.

SO FAR CHANGE SUCKS!!!!!!
yea matt he has a e.z pull system as well. i have never used it but i dont know how it can get much easier than the straight pull. and the install on the thrust is simple as they come. no having to find parts or make them just bolt and play!!!!!!

Will I have to buy any other parts for the xscream system? I've got a stock steering nozzle and stock exit nozzle will this work with them ok?

It depends what year your superjet is.

'90-'07 SJ: Xmetal or Thrust require the 62t reduction nozzles found on '08-up SJ's or 62t waveraiders 701/760 (NOT raider 1100's). Xmetal uses the 62t steering nozzle also. Thrust uses either the GP760 or GP800 steering nozzle, I think.

'08-up SJ: You are go to go with the xmetal as your ski has the 62t reduction and steering nozzles as OEM equipment.
Reduction nozzle works with the thrust trim and I think you may be able to change some bushings and mod the steering nozzle to use with the thrust also.

Both trim systems are of high quality and you will be happy with either choice. Both manufacturers stand behind their products and are innovators in freestyle jetski products.

Is there an obvious and compelling advantage to the Thrust system other than the pulley system? It's twice as much money.

Like Chris said, it depends on the year of your SJ. Both Thrust versions come complete with the reduction and steering nozzle; just bolt on and go.
