Well, as Skinnyman and I reached the Texas coastline last Saturday morning, after a handful of perfect backys and rolls in the first session of riding, I came up short on about my 5th backy of the morning. I nosed it in and hit bottom VERY hard in about 3 to 4 ft of water, Larry towed me back in as I quickly figured out something isn't good. Took my hood off, and noticed my driveshaft was bent VERY badly, two busted motor mounts, couplers, and coupler cover was all toast. Looked at Larry and said "WELL ! IM DONE !!" lol. Then looked at the nose of my ski and besides some stress cracks and some paint flaws in the actual nosepiece (some were already there), there was NO DAMAGE TO THE HULL! Then I remembered watching a vid of Josh Lustic doing the same thing, with no nose damage to his as well. Thanks to Bobby for the SUPERSTRONG carbon layup!! :)

Thought I'd share my carnage....

Thanks, Daniel

Damn that's a bummer, but I bet you were happy about the hull! That's how a hull should be built.

WOW, normally that would have been toast. That is a testament to how a nose should be made to take a hit! sorry about the rest though :(

When flipping in the surf that always seems to happen sooner or later. 'Backflip to Sandbar'

Impressive carnage! Glad your hull held up.

its one sweet sxr. as awesome as that is, you know you secretly wish the nose smashed all the way to the bracket so you could just add rocker and round it off. dont lie. :)

Thats a bad hammer! You cold drop that SOB off the top of a building and still go ride.

holy moly, where did u come from?? ur still alive? :)

i have always sowrn by the integrity of trinty hulls. nothing is indestructable, but these hulls are pretty damn close. i love my trintys, but i'm just one guy and thats my opinion :)
