I bought this rockered superjet hull awhile back to have as a second ski to ride. I built it pretty cheap with just a 61x.

I really like the way the hull rode other than it needing tubbies, but I wasn’t really pleased with the power. I could’ve chose to modify it more, but I didn’t wanna dump money into this ski instead of my tigercraft. So with some persuasion from @sasquatchcrap I decided to rip everything out and put a kawi 1100 in the ski, since I did enjoy riding his square nose with the motor.

The only real mod I thought was necessary to the hull for the 1100 was 6 motor mounts, so I wouldn’t have an issue with this heavy motor moving around.

As for converting the motor into the hull. I bought a rad dude’s plate but my motor sat 3/8” too tall and that was me cheating everything to bring it down. So we decided to make our own plate cnc cut and bent, which I’m realizing we didn’t take any pictures of lol. The other key part of this build is the chamber that @sasquatchcrap built. It really helped us save weight as opposed to the stock 1100 chamber. The motor that I picked up for it came out of a zxi that had been modified for $600. After parting out everything else from the zxi I’d say I have no money into the motor.

A few pictures from today, nothing crazy. All the GoPro footage was trash. This thing flips super easy with all the power even off the little waves. The power of this triple compared to a 701 based motor just seems to be endless in the surf.

I've seen a SXR with a 1100 for sale that caught my eye. Was wondering if the extra weight would be a problem . Also, own Superjets and not familiar with how SXRs handle .

The first run of plates are about to be finished up. And will soon be available. I was having issues with the rad dudes plates setting to high and saw this opportunity to make a better product. We tried to design the plate to bolt up a tad on the low side. It’s always easier to shim the motor up then try and lower it.

The plates are laser cut stainless with welded gussets. And weight should be within a pound of the aluminum rad dudes plate. It will allow you to bolt in a 1100 Kawasaki where a Yamaha twin was factory. How ever as with most all conversions there are other issues such as pipe fitment and water box exhaust hose routing, Ebox placement. Given the plethora of different hulls this could go into I haven’t tested all the combinations/Variations.

As for the pipe I hope to produce them, But as most know it’s a labor of love. The cost is high and the profit is low. It is a “wet” pipe with a single adjustable water screw and was designed off the stock kawi port timing. You can move the power a little kinda like adjusting a b pipe. Just way easier to get to.
I want to continue testing and be sure I have a superior product. Although the only issue thus far has been the coupler sliping off because I didn’t have a large enough rib for the clamp to bite into. I can say even if there is no power increase the weight reduction over the factory cast is substantial. I will re weigh the parts soon as I had all the weights documented and found out my scale was screwed up.

If you have tons of money burning a hole in your wallet and want a pipe. Hit me up it’s just not on the top of my todo list.
