Other Triple trailer

Just thought I would post a picture of my triple Triton aluminum in case any one else was interested in making one. It is really quite easy and can hual any combo of two blasters and a stand up or smaller. You have to start with a Triton Elite and from there its about $250 worth of parts plus the welding.

Here are some pictures. I basically bought a Triton Elite two place trailer which is meant for two big boat sit downs. I then ordered two extra bunks, extra winch and mount, the tray the winch sits in, and 8 of the tracks the bunks run in. Also the carriage bolts and the square brackets for the bunk adjustment. Then it was pretty simple to just have the 8 tracks welded on as well as the guide for the winch mount. I kind of messed up and should of moved my bunk guides in a little more but every thing works great. I also had the two tabs welded to my tool box to run a strap across my stands and then put the diamond plate down so they can fall through the bottom. Everything came out really great.

Thanks, I am really happy with it and its really not a big deal to do if you do the figuring. Of course its pricey compared to picking up a used trailer but since I haul 4 skis to Florida every year and leave them there for a few months its definitely worth it for me. If any one wants to do one I'll help out all I can.

Wow, beautiful trailer. I'm converting my single into a double for my blaster and new SRX. Parts here in Tokyo are crazy expensive. I usually fill up my suitcase
or my kids when traveling back to Ontario for the summer but now we are only allowed one bag.

Most of the riders are racers or construction types who have parking. The sport is limited because you have to get a license( $600), you need to pay shaken(certification) on the jet ski and the trailer every 2 years.($300 plus) Then you have to find and pay for a parking spot. I'm lucky since I park my gear at a friends house for $25 a month usually it would be $100 plus. To top it off you have to pay to drive on the main highways.

I have the same trailer and want to be able to trailer one sit down & two stand up skis. Do you think it would work with a full size sitdown? Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

It would have to all fit and be under 102 inches wide. That is the legal limit. A stand up sits a lot lower so you can kind of overlap the rub rails at the bond line with a taller ski. Just measure your skis and see what the total is and go from there. Superjet is a little narrower than an SXR. I don't think I could do what I did with an SXR.

Regular 3 seater skis are right at 48" normally, SJ is 26" I think. So you would be right at 100" with no gaps...pretty tight to 101.5" limit

I think if i overlap the rub rails on the two stand-ups by putting a spacer below the bunks on one side to raise one ski up above the other it will work. I will keep you guys posted. Putting a ski in the back of a pickup just blows.
