Trying to move 701 engines

I'll have a complete 61x and complete 62t with electronics and carbs, both run and are stock. Need to get rid of them because that money towards my big girl engine and I'll have an additional 62t engine I'm going to keep for myself and use case flywheel and electronics for my build. What's the going rates for a complete setup on these? Also I'm in cali.

full complete running powerplants with electrical here in FL would be roughly 700 for a "good" 61x and 800 or so for 62T. Anything above those prices in my opinion and it needs to be pretty damn clean or have other things attached to it to make it worth more. Pricing is regional of course.

did you not ask this same question already?
I completely forgot I asked about that. My heads in Lala land recently. Trying to do to many things at once. My bad.
There would be a much better view from the intake ports and pics from that side will only help you sell it quicker , that is if the cranks look good from that side of course.
Also I'm trying my best not to pull these things apart and get rid of them. Do you think I could get a b scope in the intake and see enough to help someone make a decision?

It is a fairly common practice to pull the head and or intake and take pics when selling an engine, I have literally seen it done a hundred times here just saying

I know I was joking... lol on a real note you can get at least an eye on the crank from the intake side..gives you an idea at least

Looking at a crankshaft will tell you nothing about condition of the bearings unless there is visible corrosion, then you can assume it's a core. I've pulled plenty of cranks that have had no rust but after flushing and lubricating the bearings at least one was not smooth. Buying used engines is a gamble

People who are looking to get a junk ski going to sell will tend to pay more for a complete engine. Anyone who wants a good engine knows you must start with a perfect crank. They don't come around very often in used engines although I did find a couple last year.

I paid 800 and shipping for a complete 61x power plant with no exhaust... but I also got some other goodies thrown in with it, including a bunch of hardware I needed. Super clean too, all freshwater, and I am in that exact scenario right now. Throwing together a $200 x2 for fun
