Blaster Turf installation

What are you guys using for glue with your turf installation? I tried using dap contact cement in a can...... Yeah didn't work so well. Maybe I didn't let it set long enough? Not sure.

Dap 25312 Weldwood Contact Cement Gel.

Did you rough up the surface?

Did you let it almost dry before you stick them together? Can should say like 15min before application. If you do that, it's not coming off.

Yes, must it let dry to the touch. About 15 minutes. To where you can touch it and nothing happens. That's when it's ready.

Dont Rush, you could come back in an hour and they will still stick. Do two coats with about 10 minutes In between. Then let it dry and then stick em. Make sure you stick em in the right spot cause you WONT be able to slide or move the turf once you stick it

Rough up the turf as well with about 220 grit sandpaper. After you apply the turf lightly tap the entire surface with a rubber mallet. Well hard enough to do some good but not hard enough where you crack the fiberglass.

Turf is porous and two coats does wonders to help it adhere better
