SXR turnplate need help

ok so i got a pole turnplate deal whole package off of here and its an sj turnplate so the steering is setup on the right side of the bars should i just buy a different turnplate ? and another thing is that my new pole is a -6 so my steering cable is a little long what should i do . thanks

Cut the cable and rethread it. I had to do that when I went to the UMI pole. It's easier than you think and it's nice to have a tap and die set.

Flip the turnplate and put the ball on the other side. The superjet steering ball is larger than the kawi - just so you know.

thanks for the info man I notice there's lke slots for o rings where my turn plate hooks up to the handpole and if I just flip it they won't match up so I'll pry just have to buy a new one but thanks alot for helping me out.
