Tying down the hand pole

For some reason I have always hated putting a bungee across the top of my pole. I don't like the way it looks and the hook always rubs on the paint when I connect it to the bond line. I'm just weird I guess. I decided to come up with something a little different. I'm not sure if it's been done but I haven't seen it so I thought I would share. I made a small loop that fits under the hood latch and attached a hook that hooks to the eye bolt I have for my pole limiting strap. Much cleaner looking :) my pics won't rotate for some reason, but you get the idea

i almost did that too but wasnt sure if i would get enough downward force to keep it from springing since its pulling more horizontally than vertically.. It worked pretty well? i have a 650 sx that i might do that with. Wasnt sure if i wanted to make another one of these for that ski or not. Its just a beater anyway lol.

How many of you would be seriously interested in one for 10 bucks shipped? I assume I would have to order enough supplies to make about 100 of them if I wanted supplies at a decent price. If there is enough interest I'll price everything out.

People would probably pay up to 19.99 for such a thing.
Id say keep it to $12.99-$15.99 or so to be profitable for your time and still attract lots of interest.

I have a limit line setup and so I take a double loop strap over each bar end and then put the center underneath the latch for the ratchet of my limit line setup.
Pretty much does the exact same thing but with no give.

Yeah but you got to use your ingenuity and create something yourself! :)

Also I noticed I said limit line but meant hood strap setup. I have both.
The ratchet is for the hood strap and is nice and centered.
Ill try and get a pic up for you guys tomorrow, the double loop strap is the same thing used to ratchet down handlebars on motorcycles/dirtbikes without scratching the bars.
