It might be a long shot, but does anyone know if a type 9 dry pipe will fit in the Rickter hull without extensive mods to the hood lip? My initial thoughts are no, as from the pics of seen, even aftermarket flame arrestors are a tight fit, or need mods to the hood lip.

I've always loved the Type 9 and want to avoid running the PFP pipe if possible when I eventually start a new build.

hood clearance is the killer with an r&d pipe, is type 9 as tall? Especially over the engine an forward. The hood is just too low. pipe would stick out past the handlepole recess. R&d actually fits the hood lip better than on a stock ski.
