UK's 1st Freeride Competition

The UK's Freestyle National Tour is planning the UK's first freeride competition this March.
It will be on 13/14 March in South Wales, hopefully Port Talbot, just waiting for Council confirmation.

Saturday will be a training day, so UK riders can get used to surf riding and hopefully we will have several riders trying their first backys...
Sunday we will run a competition, which will be loosely based on the French Freeride National Tour structure.

This is the first freeride comp ever held in the UK, as we try and grow this aspect of our sport.

Everything is more or less finally nailed down, and the council don't now think they are about to invaded by an army of 2 stroke oil snorting hooligans!!!!

Saturday is set aside to traing and learning new surf stuff, and Sunday is Competition day.
We are not running the IFWA rules, we are similar to the French National Tour format, points for each trick, with a difficulty multiplier - the more tricks the more points, and the bigger the trick the more points.

Like all these surf events, we are are praying to Poseidon for surf!

Bring it on!!!
