Uneven weight on trailer

So I have a standup and a sit down and haul them both on zieman double trailer. Obviously the weight is going to be a factor with one ski not weighing as much as the other... Has anyone come up for a solution because I eat up trailer tires? I know I could add more weight but is there anything slick someone has come up with?

Center the couch and put new rails in front of it going the other way. Looks like you might have to move your box to do it tho

I have the same trailer that I bought used, came with bias ply trailer tires, I think Duro brand. I did notice odd tire wear as well, but have seen it before on bigger trailers so thought nothing of it...it's not scrubbing the tires off just odd wear pattern.. I've since converted the trailer just like yours.... tire wear is still the same, so wondering if this is like what you got going or is it worse.

With your tongue so high do you notice your trailer fish tailing while you drive ? Even the slightest amount would scrub your tires

Edit: home now and not on tiny phone. Had a look at my trailer, I have my skis further forward, one is a 3 seater and seems longer than yours. Anyways mine about centered over axle to slightly forward both skis, lots of tongue weight. Here is a pic of my tires. Bought trailer used and that's how they were already. Mine are on last leg as you can see. Have towed 600 miles empty, towed with skis only and normally tow fully loaded down, as I've flat decked it and carry my camping gear all over the ski and 6 fuel jugs...

Hi,

I'd get a drop hitch to even out that trailer and make sure when connected to the ball there is ~50lbs of drop on the toungue (adjust ski forward/back as needed) so it's not pulling up when hitched. That should help with the squirrelling as you're hauling.

Alternatively, if that fails alternate the ski positions periodically, or recenter the sea toilet a bit as suggested above

Just my thoughts.

center the larger ski bunks on the trailer... LEAVE YOUR BOX AND DO THIS ....lol EZ-SKIv2 carrier .. and then when you only want to take out the stand up .. walla you dont need to take a trailer ...

What did you mean that you could ride in the carpool lane with ezski
if you have a ski on the carrier and you're not telling another trailer you can go in the carpool lane and the fast lane cuz technically you do not have a trailer Most states when you're towing a trailer you're not allowed in the fast lane or the carpool lane

I have been using a versa-haul hitch hauler. I generally only tow a trailer locally due to load concerns. I recently installed air bags which have been nice. I pull a 6,000 lb toy hauler. At 35psi the bags are much nicer than without. The truck rides level now. I use 15lbs with the hitch hauler and superjet. I should play with the numbers more but it has been a good start. I have the integrated bump stops so I can run 0psi unloaded so the ride is no stiffer than stock when not towing (althought 5psi is recommended). I think having bags with a hitch hauler and a trailer is a wise idea if going any significant distances.

I use a fat-tire bike portable pump I keep in my glove box to fill the bags for the superjet (15psi). It only takes about 10 pumps. I use a full sized bike pump with the toy hauler and it only takes about 10 pumps (35 psi). They are high quality pumps. I have a $13 tire gauge that has a *dynamic* bleader valve which makes setting the pressure much easier.

Previously, I had a GP1200 on the same trailer as my Superjet. I saw similar results. I don't tow far so I did not do anything about it.
However, I did consider the solution of putting a heavier spring on the side of the GP1200. I had already upped the springs to 600lbs since it is setup as a triple stand up trailer. I never did try the idea however.

I haul a ski on one side and a dirt bike on the other of my small trailer. Both light but not balanced, just flip tires from time to time. That and wal mart tires are like $30 so I never worried to much about it on my setup.
