I got this hull off of a member on here. Can't remember his name. I don't think it ever left Tony's shop. I had tony install some of his fixed footholds.
Communication was OK. Prob not the best.
Tony at least gave me a weekly update, when I asked bout the status.

He changed shipping companies during all this that took some time.
It was shipped through unishippers. Was shipped to my local yrc terminal. The guy I was in communication was very helpful.
The ppl with yrc here in Amarillo gave me some confusing info. Was told I could pickup hull on Monday. Got all excited got there that Monday and it hadn't even showed. They called that evening said it was there on a trailer that hadn't been unloaded yet. Picked up next day no problem.
The hull has got a few imperfections on it few like rub marks, some spots that looks like globs of gel coat. But just pretty dirty. I'll get it cleaned up and may have to go over it with some fine wet sand 2000 or higher. Lil buff job not real concerned. I'm planning on getting a wrap made for it

I started with the pump alignment. Midshaft installed with cf spacer. Midshaft aligned up perfectly in the center of tube. Pump aligned right up. Had to use a few shims on the reduction nozzle end.

I needed to get motor and exhaust put in so I could figure where I was gonna put brackets for water strainers at and figure out location for ebox. Really wanted to c how this type 4 would fit. I got motor installed and shimmed couplers were completely flush with one another all the way around.I got a 2mm gap between each finger on couplers. So go and fit exhaust on it was a no go. I was like wtf. Looked at it a Lil bit. Discovered it would fit, I just had to unbolt motor slide it forward and put chamber on. Put motor back on motor mounts. It fits real nice with plenty of room to spare. I was going to use a xmetal waterbox it wouldn't work with out modification cuz of the rocker on the hull. So I'll purchase a tdr which is what I was gonna do in the first place. I got ansy and didn't want to wait 2 weeks.

Good lookin ski you have there. Are you concerned at all about that type 4 rubbing on the dash with motor vibration? Also, any idea yet on the jetting specs you'll use?

Thanks man, no I'm not really concerned I believe there's plenty of room. I'm gonna try the stock jets that came in carbs 150 main 120 pilot. Start at 1 turn out and go from there
