Vacuum pump for small scale infusion

I am interested in making some smaller scale parts because I like messing around with composites. Looking up vacuum pumps, theres obviously a bunch of $100 chinese ones available, not sure just how bad or unreliable these would be. What are some minimum specs for something like a rideplate, maybe a superjet nose piece, etc? Not trying to infuse an entire bottom deck or anything.

Mine is about two years old and I also use it for oil changes with an air compressor tank as a cannister for four stroke skis so it gets used a lot , it has been very reliable .
