Demand = next to nothing = low value
Availability of parts = next to nothing = really hard to take care of
It's really not that great of a boat to begin with. Even if it was in great shape, it wouldn't be too fast or too fun. That will be the general consensus on this site.
Even if it's your favorite boat in the world, I really think $500 would be the most you should spend, if anything at all.

Not to argue, but hull design aside, how can it be hard to find parts for when everything is yamaha? I mean, its a 701 engine with the same electronics.
