Vendor Wants Your Input

I know that many of you have seen me here and on other forum sites...
I am looking at investing in advertising for the site... What I want to know is, What advertising do you guys notice the most?

Should I invest in magazine ads? More banner ads on websites? Sponsor races or racing teams? What catches your eye. Please let me know, I don't have a ton of money to throw around at advertising that doesn't work.

We don't do paid advertisers anymore, only Google adsense on the pages and Shoppingads for Ebay ads.

He's talking about what form of advertising will work best for his company (he said site).

I put an Ad in Ride Magazine, AWA is a worthy organization. I get all three rags my favorite is Ride.

I just spoke to their advertising manager and their prices for ads on the site are about 4 times as expensive as some of the other (motorcycle) on-line magazines and Ride has far less members/subscribers. I think I may try one of their print ads.

I was thinking have a bikini chick and the slogan "only cover whats important"
What do you guys think?

I think everyone was talking about Ride Magazine, not the website.

I know but more people look at their online site, than recieve the magazine.

Numbers on websites are easy to manipulate, and very misleading unless you really know what you're looking at. Pageviews means more than hits or files, and visits and pages/visit mean more than the others.

I would bet that more people spend time going through Ride Magazine looking at the advertisers than seeing a banner ad on their website, but that's just me.

I was thinking about calling some of the advertisers and seeing how the mag is doing for them.
