Hello friends, I’ve been wanting to do a scupper on my square nose and I’ve been doing alot of research and decided I like the ball style scuppers so I ordered one up. From the videos I’ve seen the ball is supposed to float and water pressure from outside pushes the ball inwards towards the tapered housing thus sealing the scupper when said ski is sitting. I purchased a 2” ball scupper but noticed the ball is somewhat heavy and does not float? I’ve never seen another ball scupper so I can’t compare. I’m wondering if I should mount it an an angle or something to make the ball roll towards the opening? Anyone have any experience with something like this?
