This has been done before and since I am the one who brought it up I'll start it. This has helped several riders (including one of our own) who have lost their hulls get back on the water. Stop losing hulls people!! (j/k it could happen to any of us!)

I was talking to madmat and I came up with an idea so I feel like I'm not just getting a hand out

For every $100 I get I will donate an hour of my time to a local cause like ymca etc. I will be making a build thread and documenting everything including the said community service.

If my hull ever is found whatever I can use on ski I will and any excess money will go to a charity ride like the lake Erie free ride 2015.

I'll donate a Retriever. Everyone else please do yourself a favor and save yourself from receiving a free retriever in trade for loosing your ski. I don't sell these for a living, I sell them because loosing a ski sucks, been there done that.

Yea I keep yelling at someone in my crew about how JUST straps are not enough in surf..the hood could shift man...

and this someone already lost one hull! :/

The rage guys are going to be helping me out as much as they can. In the winter I will be driving down there from Canada to help build myself a hull from start to finish. As much as it truly sucks that this happened it will be an amazing experience

Just out of curiosity, what does "foamed" mean? Is the entire cavity behind the bulkhead foamed and with what? Nose foam?

Hull had foam it floated for a while but rrp pole is not foamed etc more weight in ski than a tray can float. Retriever bag for the win an this would have only taken a few hours of minor annoyance. not all my hard work saving building etc all gone. Tray was full of SM tight packed and to part in rails

The top deck around footholds filled with 2 part foam and sealed off before bonding. The entire tray, bulkhead back is packed tight with 2" eps foam. There is no room for any more foam in the hull. They will all go down under the right circumstances.
