Super Jet Wamiltons Scupper Flap/Tube

I recently bought a SJ built by wamiltons and the scupper flaps leak, not thinking much about the size I ordered a 2” Versa plug Max and it’s to small. After measuring I realized that the PVC tubing is 2.25”, this seems like a very uncommon size and I’m having a hard time finding something to replace my leaky flap. Has anyone else used a 2.25” scupper tube? If so what kind of “one way valve” did you use? What brand?

I really want a Vera plug max but can’t find anything with a ID diameter of 2.25”

Thoughts?

This is expensive but maybe you could find a shorter piece somewhere. Just need a piece the length of the versaplug. Glue it in your existing tube and you're good to go.

Not to totally derail this but were you on Fremont lake this past weekend with your ski? I live on that lake. My son was out on his sn for a bit. Mine is not quite ready for the water yet.

Yes sir! I have a place on Fremont lake, I think I saw your son on the SN. I’m on the southwest corner of the lake.

Ya, we saw the skis on the lifts. My son keeps track of the location of every nice boat and standup on the lake, he's only 12 so it's not creepy...yet! I think my ski will be ready for the water this weekend and we are out most weekends during the summer chasing boats. There are getting to be quite a few standups on Fremont Lake now. Also working on getting a blaster water worth in the next couple of weeks.

Back on topic, I have a Veriplug and like it, the ball in mine is a little old so I think is doesn't seal perfectly anymore.

Redneck fix, you could wrap a few rounds of gorilla tape or something around it to get a snug fit. Then get some longer set screws to lock it in and then maybe silicone seal around the gap. Also, I drilled little pilot holes in the tube for the set screws to seat in better.

Yea mine will be in the lifts for a while, I broke my foot out there on Sunday. Thinking about selling one since in out for the season.

I actually got the Versa plug in and working and it doesn’t leak at all. Love it!!

Too bad about the foot. That's a nice boat, I'm sure my son will be the first to inform me there is a cool new boat on the lake. He's go the only SN superjet on the lake if you see him buzzing around, I apologize in advance if he's a little too nosy. I'll have a green backie chan and will have a white blaster out on the lake in a few weeks too.

I prefer them louder!! This Wamiltons ski is pretty loud! Foot may be broken but I can still drive the boat, I’ll throw some good waves for you guys to jump!

Good morning. I apologize for just seeing this now. Were you able to get the Versiplug Max to work in your ski?
If you need anything, spacer or o-rings feel free to get in touch with me and I’ll get you what you need.
Thank You,
