FX-1 Washer on drive shaft before impeller?

Just put a bearing kit in my fx1 pump , screwed the new impeller on and it bottoms out before it tightens on the shaft.

What am I missing?
Received the pump and shaft in pcs so might be missing a spacer, washer?

sometimes with aftermarket props you do need to add a spacer or washer

Also make sure the drive shaft is pushed all the way in where it suppose to be. I ran into this problem and found my shaft needed to be pushed in about a 1/4"

Sounds like you are missing the spacer between the seals and the impeller
