Ski runs fine until you cut it off. Restarts on one cylinder due to water leakage into front cylinder.
Front piston steam cleaned.
Replaced o-rings, no change.
61x/61x with shark fab head.
Ran great for 5 years and now this.
Thinking cracked cylinder or dropped sleeve.
Any suggestions?

When one cylinders oring leaked on a replacable dome head I noticed the spitting pissser first. When I took the dome by itself and drug it across the sleeve to cylinder and back in all directions I found it was bowl shaped, the sleeve dropped .002

I used a hand stone and oil to flatten the Intire deck until rebuild time.

Corrosion? I've read on here some one had a water jacket with a pin hole in it to a transfer port would cause this the sleeves don't seal water on the sides like some engines so I doubt a cracked sleeve would cause this but yamahas are well known for sleeves dropping and leaking at the head gasket or orings

water ingestions=
Head gasket/oring but you will usually notice the steam at a bypass fitting
exhaust manifold gasket leaking
cracked dry pipe (should run like crap)
or a water line (or similar) leak spraying into carbs
