Blaster Water in ebox?

Pulled my ebox apart today and there was a good amount of water in it. Seal looked good and nothing was corroded so that's good. Is this common or is there something I should look for to prevent it?

First off, look for any cracks in the plastic main cover, then the screw off cover for the fuse. I'd also look into the screws, make sure none of them are stripped, they only thread into plastic. Never hurts to use a little sealant on both side of the gasket too. Check the grommets for all of the cables and wires, rips or just that they weren't seated right.

Hell if your really brave, dunk the whole thing in fresh water like in the sink or tube. The escaping bubbles would tell you right away where your leak is. just make sure to dry everything after.

You shouldn't need anything on that gasket - it can cause the gasket to ooze out of place when tightening the screws.
Make sure the "rats nest" is not keeping the cover from seating properly and torque it like you would a head and don't over tighten it and do a good visual in the areas Screwy mentioned.
I spray my innards with an anti corrosion spray that dries hard -(LPS procyon or Advirox AV8) - Boeshield or ACF 50 will work but it leaves everything slimy.
