I wanted to get your guys suggestions before I install my dry pipe (again).

A little back-story is I installed the dry pipe about 2 months ago and 3 tanks later I deto'd my front piston. Never really could pin point why exactly. But I returned the ski to a stock pipe so I could have something reliable again.

I tapped the pump for dual cooling and used the water dump tube that goes through the hull to make it easier. What do you guys think of the way I had the cooling lines before? Should I set them up differently this time? Maybe that was the culprit for the front piston deto? Although the engine did have alot of hours on it before too... Also Im running one of those old vilder charging flywheels, I guess they have a 5 degree advance built in.. So I did not use the heat sensor loop from factory pipe.

You dont need a Y from the top f your pie to the bottom of it at the stinger, you should only have 2 spots for water at your stinger anyway. One is a pisser and one is going into the stinger and into your waterbox. Do you have an extra barb there for water? if you do, cap it off....it was probably for water injection which you more than likely wont need.

What you do is use a 1/2" fitting from your pump into your hull, using the stock factory BILGE PUMP line/tube. If you look behind your battery tray on the bottom of the hull you can see where that black hose goes. Use that to connect to your manifold, where water will come IN.

The 2 fittings on the top of the head go overboard (pissers) as well as the one pisser from your pipe that goes overboard.

To cool your pipe, use the other fitting from your pump and run it into your hull and over to your pipe like you have shown. Also, use a straight barb fitting not a 90 degree one on your pipe, its less restrictive. Cap off the extra factory aluminum tube that brings in water to your motor when it is set up with stock cooling.

Hope that helps.

Luke

EDIT: Also, do not T or Y any of your pissers together, let them all run out separate. When you bring 2 lines into 1, you will have some restriction and not get water out as fast. If you run them all separate you will have the hot water out faster and cooler water in sooner.

You're welcome. Don't forget that if you use the stock siphon/bilge, you only have your duckbill left to drain your ski. I have never had a problem but I have a bilge pump for those nasty accidental subs.
