I just talked to Jeff, my hull will ship out this week. Here are some pictures that he sent to me today. He calls this hull F1-Pro.

It is based on my favorite ski the FX-1 but it has cleaner body lines and it utilizes the Superjet pump/pump shoe/intake grate/intake tunnel. The pump itself is setback by the difference in length between the Superjet and FX-1 intake grates. Hookup should not be a problem!

Jeff built this hull using his prepreg technology and he claims everything in these pictures weighs 60 pounds (it still needs footholds and some foam in the back). It is a very stiff hull.

I'm going to run a GP800 engine in it, so Jeff made me a custom exhaust pipe and gas tank, etc.

The hoodshell is an exact FX-1 copy... no channel. I think Jeff would like a channeled hood but that would mean a new mold (he wouldn't modify an existing hood to put a channel in it). Same for the top deck.

That ski is such a sleeper :sneaky:  A gp motor in that hull is :purr: :skull2: :Banane01:

It just occured to me.........a descent trim system and that ski will be a backflipping machine

What made you buy a X-jet, get it, then turn around and place an order for a new F1-Pro the same year? Both designs are completly different. Higher pole pivot point, shorter length, different bottom decks, ect..... Did the X-jet's handling charcterics not appeal to you. I remember reading a ride review you did with the X-jet but you were still breaking in the motor and I think you said the water cops kicked you off the lake b/c it was getting dark. What was you overall impression of the X-jet (SXR style bottom) when you put it through its paces and what prompted the F1-Pro order nearly 2 years ago?

I know Tom (superramjet) had the SXR bottom on his X-jet and it handled almost too well.........not making for a optimal freestyle ski. He later trimmed the longer straikes off the bottom to be the size of the SJ and said it handles very well for freestyle, more like a SJ that can slide out. I would kind of like to get customers thoughts on the handling charcteristics of the REV, X-jet and F1-PRO. Jeff has made allot of innovative changes on all the hulls and I persoanlly would like to get an idea of how each performs in relation to one anouther.

I thought my X-Jet handled perfectly, this one will be totally different. I mostly wanted to order a prepreg hull before Jeff got too busy (I figured it would take awhile to get). Origianlly I ordered another X-jet but changed my mind when Jeff said the 800 would fit in the F1-Pro!

The reason for the high bracket is the small hull. FX-1 is a tiny little ski. Makes a superjet feel like a barge.

i still dont see why they would put a hight bracket on it???...dosnt really make any sense to me..
