What are they supposed to do? It looks like they are flush with the bottom of the hull and add as much value as a really thick sticker. So clearly I am missing something.

I believe this is old tech. Back when the rules for racing were only a certain thickness was allowed for front mounted tubbies.

Joe, WDK has a bad history with customer service around here, that's why the crazy answers. Talk to Dan about getting watercraft factory sponsons or look at some of the other manufacturers.

First sponsons were made by R&D and I think Riva had a set.. Then WDK took sheets of Plexiglass and make his on High Tech front sponsons..... These type front sponsons did help the SJ carve a little better. Ridden a few ski's with them (not the WDK type) and liked the handling.......
