Lakeman, these threads pop up quite often (as you may have gained). Yes, he is still in business (last I heard). No he doesn't answer emails, texts, phones, morse code, carrier pigeon, or any other method of communications. If you sent him money, you may or may not receive your products in a timely manner. If you are about to order parts, there are other outlets that do stock his parts and can ship quickly. Patients and a roll of the dice is going to be your best bet otherwise.

Easy, I've ordered from him many times and I've gotten everything, never really had to wait either

Are you aware that people have not received what they have paid for? If so, a blanket statement like "you will get it" is pretty misleading.

Congrats, if you are one of the lucky ones that eventually gets everything they paid for.

FWIW I personally know (either long time existing friends or people I have met at freerides) more people that have had great results from WDK than people who had bad results. Not dismissing the bad stuff but I always wonder the other side of the story.

The guy has been nothing but excellent to the dozen plus people I am tight with that have ordered stuff from him. I would order from him right now if I needed something....without any hesitation.

Does he answer the phone? No. Does he post here? No. Do his parts show up exactly the day he says? No. Do I care about 2 or 3 or 4 or even 20 or 30 days late? No.

Just my .02.

It's not the 300 happy customers that make a reputation, it's the 10 customers who didn't get their parts.

On that account alone, I'll never do business with the guy.
Yah, I've met him personally. He's a sleazeball. There are very few people I've met in my life that I genuinely don't like. He's one of them.

I have met him too and didn't catch that feeling...and I know the feeling....

I do think about those that got forked...that is why I mentioned I always wonder about the other side of the story....I can't imagine he picks and chooses certain customers to screw over.

Oh well...I'm done with it....just hate to see his great products go to waste if he really is a D bag.
