Wavebalster runs fine when it's cold then bad when it get's hot.

Hi Guys

My 95 wavebalster was running fine till I put on a factory pipe on it this year. I bought another blaster (94) and ran it for a bit and ran well, took of the factory pipe and the carb off and installed it this year on my 95 and sold the other 94 waveblaster. Anyways It runs good for the first 3 minutes then it starts to act up, so it feels whenever it gets hot it starts to run bad. But sometimes when it's running bad it will start running a little better for a bit and then acts up again. Especially if I let go of the gas and get floor it again. I also think my head pipe and cylinders feel too hot.

make sure you have proper cooling. splash some water on the chamber after riding it and make sure its not sizzling. make sure you got water coming out the pissers. if you have a clogged cooling line somewhere, you can overheat. you might be going into limp mode after about 3 minutes. limp mode is when the sensor on the head tells the system to cut the rpms because its too hot.

my super jet was doing that, water was comeing out of the pisser, then i took all of the cooling lines off, and where it ts and goes to the pisser, it had something clogged in there where the water wasnt going to my engine.
