I have a 96 waveblaster 1. I want to get a pipe for it. Will a waveblaster 2 pipe fit? And will i notice a difference.

Hi, and welcome to the X!
No, a Waveblaster 2 pipe will not fit correctly. It would be best to find a WB1 pipe as there are a lot of them around priced anywhere from $300 to $1k+. Yes, you will notice a big difference after installing a pipe, but you have to re-jet your carbs to add more fuel for the extra power it will be making.

Get a pipe! Blaster B1 pipes are easy to find, depending on budget and power, you can get anything in the range mentioned.

Factory Pipe "Mod" chamber pipe, Coffmans (my preferred pipe), RIVA Red can all be easily found. Post a want to buy add and you'll have responses/choices. Changing the exhaust/adding an actual exspansion chamber will give you the best bang for the buck imo and will support continued upgrades like porting, upgraded intake system etc. Proper pump tuning and carb jetting will really make it shine. Good luck have fun

I also would like to mention that the "quality" of the install usually determines the longevity of the install. Proper fasteners, gaskets, torque procedure and routine checking will provide trouble free use in most cases. Also starting with a good pipe, not an old busted up repaired or cracked crap, is a much better start to a good end. Paying a little extra for quality in the start will reduce frustration or costly repair down the road.

Price and value are relative. I would suggest buying a pipe that is complete with all needed brackets and hardware that is in good working condition. It may cost a little more than one that is not, but well worth it in the long run imo.

This^ Make sure you know what you are getting. A lot of shady sellers out there... Do some research on the pipe first before buying to make sure it has the proper bracket(s) etc. and don't believe the person selling if the say it has worked fine without "x" part for them...
