If u plan to keep n jump it for many yrs yes get umi...but I did jump the hell out of my stock steering before SJ

I took my stock steering stem apart, cut all the brackets off for the bar pad mount, powdercoated it chrome, and reassembled it, looks better than a umi, and is just as tight. the bushings are like 50 bucks total.
