In Australia, we have an 800cc class that adheres to the principles of the old Limited rules. However, this isn’t a tech-focused class, so the engine must retain an externally OEM appearance, specifically regarding the cases and cylinder. This creates a unique and exciting opportunity to explore porting and tuning while maintaining a stock look.

I’ll be sharing build progress and photos here as the project develops. To start, here’s a useful tip: the stock pole bracket is known to break under stress due to twisting. A simple and highly effective solution is to fill the bracket with resin. This modification prevents twisting and significantly enhances durability.

Stay tuned for more updates!

That same trick also works well to stiffen up cases. I like to mix a bunch of aluminum shavings into the epoxy to help keep expansion rates similar to the cases.
Im a jbweld guy myself and i heat the cases up to mke it flow well. your idea is not something i have thought of before but i do like it. I may give that a go as well
