WB1 exhaust on WRiii gp

Anyone ever try to put a stock blaster exhaust on a waverunner 3 with a 701? My buddy had the mounting bolts strip out on his WR exhaust. I have a stock blaster pipe in the parts bin I was gonna give him but it’s a larger diameter. Think we would have to re-jet it?

what pipe did you end up going with? I am keeping my eye out for a factory waveblaster mod pipe to put in a wr3. was hoping to find someone else who has tried it

I ended up finding a stock blaster pipe in off of my junk. The two biggest problems I found with the 760 pipe from what I remember was the bolt hole in the manifold are bigger on the 760 so the bolts that fit your head wouldn’t locate that pipe well without some bushing in the bolt holes. The other thing was that the 760 pipe has a rear outlet and I didn’t have a hose to go from the back of the motor around to my water box.

as far as a factory mod pipe I’m sure it would fit, lot more room in a WRIII but that a big price tag for a WRIII. I think they have small pumps so it probably wouldn’t be worth it. I was only trying to put a bigger pipe on this one because the stock pipe broke and I thought that 760 pipe was all I had on the shelf
