650/X-2 Wear Ring Housing

I was researching around on the internet, and I read somewhere that the old wear ring could be cut and then pulled out. Then either a yami or seadoo wear ing can be placed into the stock housing. If anybody know more about this, please explain. Where to buy, any how to tips. Thanks
