The wave spacing wasn't too good today, but I said I was gonna try it for the first time.......so I did!!
Almost made it. Just about stabbed the nose in, but instead.....:splatt:

I didn't bail, and got real close. Not too happy with the result though!
Broke my limiter rope AND my handlepole bracket. Not to mention a couple of nice gouges in the brand new paint job on my hood and handlepole from when the pole slammed back down against the hood when I hit I guess.:crying:

Wrist and knee hurt a bit too.....but DAMN was that fun!!!!
I was so close that I know I'll nail it next time out. Sure hope so at least.
Just finished up the ski, and Dohhhhh!! Bust it up first time out! Gotta love it.

Well....guess it's time for more work! Gotta be ready to get back on the water Sunday.

You know you just wanted a billet handle pole bracket.

:jester:

Well, better luck next time, but you should know never to try a new trick on a brand new paint job. You gotta break it in a little before you try a brand new trick.

Yes I do. But I've got a spare stock bracket I'm gonna have to throw on for now to get me by. Oh well.....next time out when I bust it too(Sunday hopefully), then I've got an excuse!:icon16:

no need to be down on yourself, you grew a sac and tried it congrats....

Thanks. But hey now.......I always had the sack!!:439:
Just didn't have the right ski to go along with it.
Now I've got the ski, and almost ended up missing the sack!!
It felt great though. I'm not down on myself at all. A little bummed about my ski, but sheat happens, right?

Thanks Kennay.
I'll get back with you tomorrow about the sn bracket. I have another one, but I could always use a backup. Who knows, I might break another one next time out. I also have another project sn to start on soon. (which is where my extra bracket came from) So I'll probably need one anyway. I'm gonna look into the rn brackets also. I'll pm you tomorrow. I appreciate it Kennay.
Thanks man!!

Yeah, I think the cops got a kick outa that. They said that they were sitting in traffic on the bridge right above where I tried it. They took the time to get off the highway and drive down to the boat ramp to talk (chuckle) to me. They did make a comment about us being smart, due to helmets though. I think seeing that made their day. The were grinning ear to ear the whole time they were talking to me. They were probably thinking....:chairshot:.
