Legit!! Way to go Lenzi! Much respect. From what I’ve been told by Malone, failing on double barrel roll attempts is one of the most painful ways to fail.

That is seriously the truth! One summer 10-12 years ago, right after Malone did his in the surf. Pancake Pete and I started a friendly race to be the first locally to do it in the surf. Neither actually pulled it off.
I took some of the hardest hits I have ever had in surf riding that summer! This kind of brings it all back into focus!

It's not even his ski is it? Much respect. Back in 550 days that last roll would've counted as a single. Backflips are more about your boat builder. Rolls take actual skill.

I saw it on instagram, soooo bad! Lenzi still got it. I do agrees rolls are harder and bader to make than flips. BUT im just wondering if the people who hate on multiple flips, actually can do 5+ for them self? 
I thought about something i would think could be cool for the freestyle comps. big air tricks, put a "woo" on the ski (logs altitude, G, hangtime) To see who can do the bigger flip, roll, 360, 540 and so forth. Instead of most in a row?

Not to get sidetracked, but yes, I’ve thought about the same thing with the Woo tracker. I think that putting a sensor in everyone’s skis would take things to another level for putting on a show/competition.

Im glad im not the only one with that thought Ryan, i think it would be sooo cool. Another thing to train for, single BIG air. and with data logging it would be cool, to have an LED bar to indicitate the height, like snowboard comps.
Here we go, talking flippy again..... Jeesh! Not surprised tho. The hulls of today dont roll! Or I guess they do roll, but its off axis. They dont spiral. The current generation of riders are stuck in the mind set of just flip. This thread is getting side tracked into just that! I would love to see the emphisis go back to doing mutiple tricks of all genre !
Finess tricks, hood trick, rolling and a few flips for good measure. Start making hulls again that preform well with limited HP, that you have to ride, instead of hang on and go for a ride!

Yes, The Freak was not easy to roll clean, but it was way better than a lot of the newer hulls.
The T1 rolls unreal! I have the balance on it about as close to perfect as I think possible?
I think I was one of only two or three guys I saw throwing clean rolls at Datyona.
It was soo much fun to throw these big fat El Roll-O’s around all the young guns.
Everyone was flippin, but few nutted up to roll. They just gave this look of Wow!
Was pretty cool! I prefer to throw big rolls over flips anyday!
