SXR Well my sxr went for a little late night adventure... carnage

Well I was on vacation for a whole week with friends and family out at sun lakes. We all brought our stand ups as usual and were having a great time. At night we put the stand ups on the floating dock as to not leave them anchored. It can get pretty windy, Well that night the wind picked up much worse than normal. It picked up from the opposite direction and two boats were set free. My sxr and a buddys superjet. I woke up to some damage and needless to say I am pretty bummed out. Luckily enough, a good family friend does gelcoat and fiberglass repair. Well here is the damage.

So anyway I will be ordering new rubber parts and having the side gelcoated and getting it back to good as new. I have a few questions.

Is there a directory for factory parts or a easy please to see pricing?

Where to find new or reman decals?

I found the corner trim and rear trim on ebay but where can I find the bumpers at? Also I saw the stick on versions that prowatercraft racing sells. Is that worth the upgrade?

If I need to remove the rail cap, how hard is it to re install? I prefer to keep it as stock as possible.

Thanks guys,[/url]

The rail caps are riveted on and are a pain to remove. My caps was loose and I removed them and turfed over the rails with a hydro turf kit from blowsion but it is not the stock unmolested look you want. The problem I found was the rivets for the caps was very hard to drill and the bottom of the rivet goes into a molded hole in the fiberglass and on some removing the rivet broke the glass. If you want it back stock I would look for someone who specializes in ski repair..... sorry for your loss it is one nice looking ski

i could be wrong because its been a long time but you might have to remove the side turf to expose the rail cam rivit
rivits are hard to drill because they are stainless

you have to remove at least the top portion (peel down) the side turf to expose two phillip head bolts on each side. they are easy as compared to the rivets.
