SXR Wet Pipe Jetting without choke plates?? SXR Race Setup

All experienced tuners!!!

I am about to install a Factory Wet Pipe and want to remove the choke plates on the standard carbs. Factory Pipe don't recommend removing the choke plates so will their jetting specs be suitable for my setup?

What jetting specs have people settled with? Im going to use the FP recommended settings but im sure some tuners out there have the jetting dialed in perfect.

The last thing I want to do is destroy my ski.

My Setup will be:
• Tau Ceti Tornado Filters
• Vforce3 Reed Valve System
• Reed Spacers
• Primer Kit with Choke Plates removed
• Factory Wet Pipe
• TBM Handling Kit
• Dual Cooling (Possible)

I am a newbie here and why do you want to remove the choke plates?

You will get 100x more power if you remove the step around the side of the carb throat than removing the choke plates.
I run 75P 150M 30PSI with the crossover blocked on modded carbs with chokes in

Removing the choke plates will give you more air and better flow. I spoke to Tim Bushman from TBM and he has given me some good jetting specs to try.

The venturi restriction in the middle of the carb, that is what is limiting the cfm of the carbs.

I run what factory said to, I just switched up on the N/S to a 2.0 and it made it sharper throttle response.
