More power doesn't always help tricks, if you have bad technique it just amplifies that bad technique.

It does make the wipeouts more fun to watch though.

Very true. You definatly need to build your self up to the higher level. I rode NJFL's 980cc ADA Jetworks motor and that was a bit much for me. I would love try Pat's and Trinity's 1000cc boats, from what I heard they are pretty insane. Ill stick with my TS840cc for now ;)

On a side note. Gil what pump setup are you going to be running? It's one thing to have an powerful motor but it does no good if you cannot get the power to the water. I was spinning the heck out of my 13/16 last year with my TS840cc. I am gona try a TBM with a mag 12/17 and see how that goes. IF not I might need to step up to a MAG pump.

It's actually only a 930cc. I have an extra 140 mag you can experiment with before you buy one.

I find that you might get more intimidated of the ski with more power as well.
Kind of like going plinking with a 338 mag may ruin your shooting form.

I agree with that, BUT with every ride, that intimidation goes away, little by little.

in fact, I think that is what we are chasing here, the intimidating power, and once we are comfortable with it, its a desire for MORE of that initial intimidation feeling.

I LOVE riding something and thinking " Holy crap, dont give it too much gas!"

I bought the TNT from Paul. I am currently running the oe pump w/Skat 12/17
w/a TBM cone w/stubby end piece. The little I v'e ridden so far it seems to hook up well. Last Sunday it took me about 1 minute to start throwin stabs identical to my old ones(701 mtr). I hope/think I will be real comfortable on ski pretty quick. Keep in mind-I've only been on it 5 minutes so far. The TNT/X metal combo does have a nice DEEP bark! The one I am dying to ride now is the ski w/the p/v motor going in it w/single 48.

I am surprised Paul gave one of those up. He kept them under close watch up here in NJ.
