What do you guys think i could get for this ski?

'88 550
PJS Water box
Fresh Turf w/ kick tail (not the best of jobs but not too bad)
Newish Throttle cable
Extended plate
Modified OEM Intake Grate
Repainted last winter Krylon White except the hood (i could paint it to match though.)
Blowsion Primer kit awaiting install
Could really use a new hood seal but the one on it not is a poorly installed (cosmetically terrible, but fully functional) hydroturf seal.

A few scratches and one spot where the paint is rubbing off bad from the hood contacting the pole. I could touch all that up before selling though.

I paid $800 then "refurbished" it and it runs fine, just a bit slow starting (primer kit will fix that) Id like to get $1k think i can?

I figured so, i shouldnt have paid so much in retrospect but if i can turn it around for 1k ill be very happy. (1k either means fx1 pipe and a tuner for my car, or hot rod cams and a tuner for my stang!)

i've sold lots of 550's that looked like compared to that one for $700. even shipped some for additional $$$ ca and florida would be the hardest to get that kind of money but anywhere else i think you could.

i bought my first 550 like 4 years ago for $550, it had some mods. Try to sell if to someone who doesnt know much about stand ups. Theyll be willing to pay more.

I know where there is an old 550 the guy keeps bothering me wanting me to buy because he can't sell it for $600 and it is just off of the show room floor. The thing looks brand new even the turf is perfect.

Normally me and a friend or my dad pull it out. With two people its not so bad. Sooner or later im going to build something like this pic with a wench at the top so i can just ride up, hook up, and strap up.

550's don't bring anything in my area unless you find someone that just has more money than brains. In that case you can pull around $500 out of them. I see people ask $700+, but they still have them months later.

I paid $450 for a bone stock 84 440 turd for my 1st ski a few years back, I thought I got a good deal considering most quads and dirt bikes are at least $1000+. I did pay too much but yours is way nicer. I got my cousin a bulk deal on 3 running js skis for $600. So the white is bomb can krylon? Looks nice, I may have to bomb can mine.
