Custom/Hybrid What engine should I put in a Superfreak

I just picked up a -2 glass Superfreak Badass . It's mostly for surf riding but since it's capable of FW flips then why not. My son and I weigh 150 and 180. I want it very reliable since its a ten minute ride to the surf.
So I'm looking for options and opinions on this. I have a 701 waveraider engine that I can send to group K to make an 845 or buy a jet maniac engine 718/735/760. My budget is around 2 grand. I guess a want the most reliable power for the best price. What do you guys think?

Ride the 701 around for bit until that new 960 cast top end is complete and drop that sucker in , sounds like it will be a great setup. 2300 for the top end then a bit extra for the case porting. If i had around 2g to spend it would be on that.

why not setup the new true performance powervalve stock stroke? get some cases and a good oem replacement crank. unless your looking to get one like yesterday. i think im going to try one in mine once all the testing is done on the manufacturers stand point.

Same one I'm talking about. Look up the thread "affordable power........ It's coming". Good read. Power valve nikasil coated cylinders Stock stroke is a 963. Able to use 62t cases.
