Super Jet What Factory Pipe is this?

I thought I bought a mod pipe from a member on here....but maybe I am wrong. I saw another highly modified ski this weekend and I noticed his pipe had a big gap between the gas tank and the pipe, whereas mine sits right against the tank.

Is this a mod or limited pipe? :drillsergeant:

While were at it, why does my head pipe have ring worm? okey: Has anyone seen this before?

Lastly does my top screw look wide open or slightly open? I can screw it down anymore but I don't know if that's because of corrosion or if its supposed to not close as much as the others.

its hard to tell from pics. get a measurement of the length, that should get you the answer you need. if you dont get one by tomorrow ill measure my mod.

this is just a guess but looks the same as my ltd pipe mine is realy close to the tank.
my screw is almost closed with 3 threads showing on the adj screw.
and mine has ring worm too there just like that lol

Thats a limited Chamber. The Ring worm in the head pipe is just a casting imperfection

you have a limited chamber. The only difference is the Mod chamber is about 1" - 1.5" shorter expansion chamber. You dont need a picture to prove that. Also, That chamber is just fine for your setup. Looks like you have a limited motor setup. That is what that pipe is designed for.

Its feels hard like a weld. It doesnt feel like the paint is bubbling or chipping.

That is the welded up port of where the sand from the casting core comes out. The head pipe is water jacketed so you would need a place for the sand to come out of, then just weld it shut or put in a "freezplug". BTW that is what freezplugs are for.
