Super Jet What Foot Holds and Turf are these and Superjet Buying Advice

I have a local guy wanting to sell his ski to me and I was just wondering where it comes from (stuff used to build it) because I never seen anything like it. Also is this a one-off paint or it was a brand ? Somone on PWCToday said the turf could be made from Bowflex or similar mat...

Also am thinkering if its a good buy, it would be my first stand-up here are the mods: 1991 stock 650, Protec Pipe, Protec Head, Foot Holds, 24/7 Scupper Valve, 0 degree steering, AM ride plate, Stainless prop and Ocean Pro FA.

I don't live near surf and only ride lakes or river

PS: Keep in mind Superjets are freakin rare around here and SN 701 normally goes for 3000$ and more and this one is 2000$

I think the name on the side of ski should give you your answer. Doesn't really look like any turf I have seen sold, and the footholds are small. I previous owner could have fabbed them, themselves.

You didn't post a price the seller is asking for so, it's hard for us to know if it is a good deal in your area, anyway. Maybe some local Canadians can chime in for ya. If the ski has good compression and all the parts you listed and you feel it's a good deal then get after it or guaranteed someone else will.

Baught it today, not as clean as I would of liked but still very nice for a 91, nice 150/155 compression, no stress cracks or anything like that. Cant wait for spring to try it out !
