Super Jet what is a 62n motor

Hey, I have looking to go buy a SJ right now. It is a 96 roundie with a 94 701 in it. I wanter to make sure that it really was a 701 so I was making sure that it was a 61x and not a 6m6 but unstead it said 62n. I am not familiar with this motor, does anyone have any info they could give me about this. Really trying to figure it out asap. thanks much

you mean 62t?if its a 62t its for sure a 701 or bigger.i dont know what 62n is.maybe someone can chime in.

So I jsut had him send me a pic of the numbers casted into the head and it says 61x. The motor is completly stock (other than the fact its in a different ski) but it say 61x on the motor and 62n on the intake mani.

Also look on the case below the ex pipe in front of the starter

if its unmolested, the head will have a 64u the cylinder will have a 61x and the cases will have a 62t on it. if it has 61x on the cases then its been messed with but its still a 701. that year came with 62t cases and dual 38's, thats what it should have and i wouldnt buy it if it didnt. not that there is anything wrong with a 61x/61x, its just if your in the market you may as well get a 62t/61x.

on my blaster it says 62E on the manifold and was a 61x/61x

The 62N designation just means it's a 1994 SJ SN SJ701S crankcase and cylinder assembly.
