Been using the same setup for 30 years and upgraded to the mountain bike hand pump 10 years ago when it came with my new bike, never liked using the compressor as now I can sneak up on the "pop" and see the exact number.

Same! I built my own years ago. I did some overhauling on it recently with new lines etc., even tried a new digital gauge, the gauge worked for a little while but started showing the same pop pressure for every spring so back to the analog gauge, I like it much more anyway as I can see the needle just before it pops. The digital dropped the number before I could read it and I think it had some lag time giving me a false reading...it looked cool though lol

Solid reason for going analog over digital in above post. However, millennials will remain unconvinced!

I tried the same digital gauge a couple years ago with the same result. I also used a pressure regulator with analog gauge off my air compressor and didn't like it. Too hard to tell if it has a slight leak. In the end I picked up a hand vacuum/ pressure test pump off Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Hand-H...-/362804353291?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286

I checked the Watcon website and checked with JetManiac who is out of stock and bought a genuine Mikuni from @tomski who is a fast shipper. Arrived today.
